Problem:  Is what's inside the Achilles Tendon. When the tendon is injured there are mico-vessels that grow into the tendon. Think of these micro vessels as "weeds" that grow into the tendon and cause pain and inflammation.

Real Patient Experience

38 Year old Female active who had been struggling with Achilles tendon pain on right heel for 2 years. Seen for pain injections, 1 year of physical therapy and MRI. Patient couldn't walk up hill or hike due to pain in the tendon. Patient received 8 treatments of shock wave therapy over 3 months (October 2024-January 2025). Final treatment reported no pain and minor soreness with skiing, running and hiking.
