Knee tendon Pain?
Jumpers Knee, Patellar Tendonitis, squatters knee all have one thing in common pain in the front of the knee and it involves the patellar tendon.
Problem: Patellar Tendon Pain
The pain in your patellar tendon is from inflammation when micro blood vessels grow into the tendon to then create pain. As the patellar tendon is overused tinny micro tears allow for blood vessels to grow into the tendon. For example think of a Garden over time weeds will grow into the area of the garden and then choke out the natural growing plants. Micro vessels that grow into the tendon will do the same thing choke out natural growth and create irritating pain.
Solution: Weed out the Tendon
Shock Wave Therapy will weed out the micro blood vessels that are in the tendon. The mechanical force from the shock waves will penetrate the tendon and de-weeds them out of the structure of the tendon. Over the treatments of Shock Waves there will be a significant improvement in the tendon and there will be less pain and improved relief.
