The Problem: Scar Tissue & Decreased Blood Flow after injuries

Picture
  • Scar tissue is a thick tangled mess of tight fibers that choke surrounding blood vessels. From delivering essential cells to help clean & repair the injury. Scar tissue also pinches the nerves causing pain and discomfort.

  • Over time this scar tissue if left untreated,  will thicken and get stronger. Creating havoc on other muscles, nerves and joints in the area. But mostly will pause the healing process in the injury area. Until the scar tissue is broken up and untangled from the surround tissues.

The Solution: Shock Wave Therapy

  • The high frequency acoustic shock waves or energy pulses target the injured tissue that is choking the nerves and blood vessels. Because of the mechanical forces on the injured tissues and scar. The shock wave creates a "jump start" to the healing process in the injury area.

  • As you can see from the infographic when you break up the scar tissue there is more flow in the blood vessels and less tension on nerves. Because of this decrease in scar tissue in the area of injury. We can get the body back to its natural healing process and improve the health of the area of injury with less pain.
